Still Life composition from class
Thumbnail sketches from Oct 5 class. Still Life. I resonated with the close up thumbnail of the clock. Lately time and timelines have been on my mind. I drew up the clock onto a piece of white paper and got started.
I tried out a few different mark making techniques. I used crosshatching in some areas, and curved lines in others. I also used my eraser to rub away some spots on the ball and the clock face to represent a shine. I experimented a bit with the blending stump, but in the end, i seem to do better with my fingers.
