Project Proposal
Title: Pieces of Me – All Boxed Up, TOXIC LOVE (Husband #1)
This piece will explore my personal issues regarding Body Image, Self Esteem, and Abusive Relationship. How Verbal Abuse is just as damaging as Physical Abuse and can fracture ones psyche.
This work will be an installation of found wooden boxes and items grouped together as the stage to display/contain drawings. Symbols of bleeding hearts, knives, and words will be used throughout. I hope to experiment with some moving parts and create an Automaton in one of the boxes. I will also be including a 3D head bust that will have collage and drawings elements. A small table/plinth will be used to display the installation.
I will be gathering wooden boxes that will contain dioramas made from drawings that have been coated in beeswax. There will be two boxes: 17x24x4.5 inches and 11x21x6 inches. The head sculpture will be 11x6x8 inches.

- Scissors – Electric Drill
- Plyers – Gloves/Eye Protection
Timeline:
- Feb 9/24 Create, plan ideas and gather materials
